Our South Edmonton Manufacturing and Service client is searching for a Payroll Benefits Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the Controller you will be the sole individual responsible for a payroll and benefits administration of 180 staff. The working knowledge of ADP Pay at Work, SAP, and Clarity software?s are considered an asset. Answering staff inquiries and investigating payroll issues/discrepancies is a pivotal component of this position. This Payroll Benefits Administrator role will enable one to pursue multiple functions within the organization, including Pension Administration. To qualify for the role of Payroll Benefits Administrator you must have a minimum of 4+ years hands-on experience preparing full cycle payroll from timekeeping to ROE's. Benefits administration is a key part of this role and experience with Pension Administration is considered an asset. Ideally, the successful Payroll Benefits Administrator will also have experience processing high volume .payrolls within Alberta. Post-Secondary coursework in Accounting, Human Resources or enrollment with the Canadian Payroll Association would be a definite asset, as all applicants must have a strong understanding of employment standards. To round out your background you will also have exceptional verbal communication skills, a great sense of humour, and a sense of team for this Payroll Benefits Administrator role.
