Description
We are seeking an Audit Staff for our team based in South Jersey. In this Audit Staff role, you will be tasked with performing various accounting tasks and projects under the supervision of Senior Accountants and Managers. The industry we operate in is highly professional and your responsibilities will be crucial for the smooth functioning of our operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across various industries
Coordinate daily tasks of planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Utilize firm accounting and project management tools to complete tasks within set deadlines
Communicate work progress, updates, and other information with clients and team members
Interact with clients to enhance audit team efficiency
Apply understanding of audit principles, practices, and regulations in daily operations
Utilize knowledge of FASB standards, GAAP, and GAAS in auditing processes
Requirements
The ideal Audit Staff candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA/CIA designation or candidacy preferred
Other requirements for the Audit Staff position include and are not limited to:
2+ years in public accounting or internal audit
Confident user of Microsoft Office Applications
Experience with CaseWare software is beneficial.
Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx is necessary.
Ability to develop and implement Audit Plans is crucial.
Familiarity with Budget Processes is desired.
