Description
Our client, a dynamic and innovative company based in El Cajon, CA. Our client is seeking a versatile and proactive HR Generalist to support their human resources department. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of HR functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. This role requires excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Handle employee relations issues, provide guidance to management, and conduct investigations when necessary.
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Administer compensation and benefits plans.
Conduct performance review processes and provide support to managers.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Manage HRIS data entry and reporting.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
