Description

Our client, a dynamic and innovative company based in El Cajon, CA. Our client is seeking a versatile and proactive HR Generalist to support their human resources department. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of HR functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. This role requires excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

  • Handle employee relations issues, provide guidance to management, and conduct investigations when necessary.

  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.

  • Administer compensation and benefits plans.

  • Conduct performance review processes and provide support to managers.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Manage HRIS data entry and reporting.

  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
