Description

Robert Half Contracts Finance & Accounting division is seeking a Bookkeeper to join a private school in El dorado Hills for a 5 month LOA!

This Bookkeeper would handle task such as:

Manage Financial Records: Accurately record and maintain all financial transactions, including tuition payments, donations, grants, and vendor invoices, in compliance with accounting principles and college policies.

Prepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to support the administration's decision-making and budgeting processes.

Process Payroll: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll for faculty, staff, and student workers, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Track Accounts Payable and Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that bills are paid on time and student accounts are up-to-date.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget, providing insights into financial trends, projections, and potential areas for cost savings or resource allocation.

Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits by organizing financial documentation and ensuring that all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately

• Firm grasp of Bookkeeping principles and practices

• High proficiency in Data Entry tasks

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in handling Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Payroll processing

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
