Robert Half Administrative Assistant in El Monte, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in El Monte, California. This role is within the telecom provider industry where you will be tasked with a variety of administrative and creative duties. Your responsibilities will primarily involve designing and creating promotional materials, maintaining and updating sales promotional materials, and communicating with internal teams to ensure seamless creation of promotional materials.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create monthly newsletters to promote products

• Develop other promotional materials, such as product brochures for weekly in-house tasting events, and customer menu lists

• Maintain and update all sales promotional materials

• Assist in identifying potential promotional products through market research and inventory data analysis

• Manage and organize promotional materials from manufacturers and distribute the materials to appropriate departments in a timely manner

• Communicate with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and warehouse, to ensure seamless creation of various materials for sales promotion

• Prepare and assist in meetings related to sales promotion, such as sample meetings and sales meetings

• Attend company events and functions outside of normal working hours

• Utilize skills such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Photoshop for various tasks.

Skills required for this role include answering inbound calls, customer service, data entry, email correspondence, inbound outbound calls, scheduling appointments, Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Illustrator, promotional campaigns, promotional design, promotional advertising, and promotional events. Requirements

• Business level English – Read/write/speak/listen

• Business level Japanese preferred – Read/write/speak/listen

• Maintains a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently and as a team

• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload

• High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree and above preferred

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred

• Proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator highly preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Basic mathematical knowledge – markups, discounts, combining/converting measurements, • counting inventory, etc.
