Description

We are in the search for a meticulous Accounts Payable specialist to join our our client in the South Bay area. This role involves working with Accounts Payable (AP) and NetSuite. This is a short term contract part-time assignment.

Responsibilities

• Handle the processing of all accounts payable transactions to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts.

• Use Netsuite for handling various accounts payable functions.

• Work closely with the team from Monday to Friday between 9 AM to 1 PM.

• Conduct regular checks of the financial system to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

• Manage the accounts payable email box, responding to all vendor inquiries, and reconciling vendor statements.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial information in the MS Excel spreadsheets.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure all payments are being handled correctly.

• Work in close collaboration with the rest of the accounts team to ensure all financial data is reconciled monthly.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

• Familiarity with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven track record of working effectively within a team environment.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

• Prior experience with Netsuite
