Robert Half 3D Tradeshow Designer in Elgin, Illinois
Description We are seeking a 3D Modeler for our team based in Elgin, Illinois. The primary function of this role is to work collaboratively with sales and exhibitors to design unique tradeshow booths and other structures. You will employ your creativity and technical skills in 3D modeling, digital rendering, and CAD-based design. This role is an opportunity to bring concepts to life, multitask on various projects, and continually enhance your skills in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with sales and exhibitors to design custom tradeshow booths and other structures
• Utilize knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques in design process
• Provide support to graphics team in layout, proofing, and pre-production tasks
• Develop strong capabilities in concept development, 3D modeling, and digital rendering
• Utilize CAD-based design knowledge specifically for the tradeshow industry
• Multitask effectively to work on several projects simultaneously
• Learn and grow with the team, contributing to a positive and supportive atmosphere
• Proficiently use Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Provide graphic support and set up files for production
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, to ensure clarity and efficiency in all tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as 3D Studio Max, Autodesk Maya, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
• Experience in 3D visualization and 3D Design
• Knowledge of animation and character design
• Familiarity with concept art and design principles
• Ability to work on projects related to art exhibitions, tradeshows, and exhibits
• Experience in layout and proofing
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as it applies to 3D modeling
• Able to create and manipulate characters for various needs
• Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant degree or certification in 3D modeling, design, or a related field. Innovation starts with people.®
