Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Elgin, Illinois. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your main role will be to manage customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and handle customer inquiries and accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Oversee and manage customer credit records, ensuring data accuracy

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to accounts receivable

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Ensure the proper billing process is followed and completed accurately

• Manage cash applications and cash collections effectively

• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to track, manage, and analyze financial data

• Handle commercial collections, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up to date

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy and transparency

• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation, with a proven ability to manage and resolve discrepancies

• Experience in accounts receivable (AR) is essential, with a focus on tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues

• Proficient in billing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing of customers

• Knowledge of cash applications, with the ability to accurately apply received payments

• Experience in cash collections, with a focus on maintaining low levels of delinquency

• Familiarity with commercial collections, ensuring prompt recovery of overdue payments

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create financial reports and perform data analysis

• Experience with Oracle financial software is desirable for efficient management of financial data

• Knowledge of QuickBooks, for managing and tracking business transactions

• Familiarity with SAP, particularly its financial and accounting modules, is advantageous
