Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our clients' team as a Logistics Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the logistics process, including transportation, inventory management, and warehouse operations. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate transportation and delivery of goods to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to replenish stock as needed.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and warehouse transactions.
Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any issues or delays in the logistics process.
Optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in trucking or international shipping.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Proficient in Excel and Outlook, with the ability to effectively utilize spreadsheet functions and email communication for logistics coordination.
