Robert Half Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
Description We are offering an opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to be part of our team, based in ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Illinois. The role involves in-depth financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a dynamic environment. You will be working closely with various levels of management to develop and maintain business models, coordinate reports, and analyze market behavior.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain various data metrics, including monthly KPIs and business models.
• Produce and support reports/dashboards for different levels of management.
• Coordinate, develop, and update policies and procedures over the financial data reporting process.
• Conduct in-depth financial, cost, margin, and profitability analysis using accurate company and marketing data.
• Perform trend analysis and evaluate sales and margin performance to identify potential risk areas.
• Develop and/or coordinate Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain a three-statement projection model for analysis of strategic input options.
• Conduct detailed revenue analytics to measure and monitor progress on the company’s various market strategies.
• Perform price/volume/mix analysis to validate forecasts by product, customer, and geography.
• Actively evaluate sales and margin performance to identify potential risk areas. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
• Proven expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A)
• Demonstrable experience in Private Equity
• Have advanced knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
• Strong presentation, reporting, and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Hold a professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Advanced degree is a plus
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
