Process accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Coding expenses to proper company, accounts and cost centers (accounting units).
Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
Review invoices for accuracy and completeness. Obtain necessary approvals and supporting documents as needed.
Match invoices with applicable supporting documents i.e. P.O’s.
Reconcile monthly vendor and credit card statements.
Maintain daily cash flow schedule.
Excellent attention to detail.
Great time management and organizational skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
Bachelors and/or at least 1 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping/accounting processes equivalent training.
Experience working with a high volume of accounts payable.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Accounting Systems.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and time management.
