Description
We're on the lookout for an accomplished Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team within the non-profit sector. This role is a unique opportunity for a talented individual with at least one year journey's worth of AR experience and an articulate college degree. Responsibilities:
Manage collection efforts and associated functions.
Prepare and manage billing, invoicing and bank reconciliations.
Process and monitor incoming payments, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.
Reconcile the accounts receivable on a regular basis.
Coordinate with the team to streamline, improve, and automate AR processes.
Maintain accurate records and provide reporting as needed.
Requirements
A minimum of one-year experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
A quality college degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
Excellent data entry and bookkeeping skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and popular accounting software packages.
Detail-oriented mindset and a strong proficiency in math.
