Description

As a Dispatcher for an up-and-coming organization, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating schedules, communicating with drivers and clients, and ensuring efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate schedules and routes for drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods or services.
Communicate with drivers via phone, radio, or computer to provide instructions and updates.
Monitor driver progress and respond to any issues or delays that arise.
Liaise with clients to confirm orders, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including logs and reports.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize efficiency and resolve operational challenges.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing, as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements at all times.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in transportation or logistics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with drivers, clients, and team members.
Excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with dispatch software and GPS tracking systems is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
