Robert Half Patient Care Coordinator in Encino, California
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in Encino, California. This role is centered around providing exceptional patient care within the healthcare industry, with a focus on counselling patients, adapting technology to patient needs, and conducting community outreach.
Responsibilities:
• Building strong relationships with patients through excellent interpersonal and listening skills
• Guiding patients through the process from testing to fitting, providing clear expectations and support
• Leveraging state-of-the-art technology to cater to individual patient needs
• Taking on an entrepreneurial approach to grassroots marketing to promote our services
• Engaging in community outreach activities to raise awareness and reach potential patients
• Utilizing Banner Ads, Blood Glucose, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, and EHR SYSTEM skills in daily tasks
• Managing Billing Functions and Clinical Trial Operations effectively
• Applying knowledge in Dialysis and HealthCare.gov in patient care
• Coordinating with insurance companies to ensure smooth patient care processes. Requirements
- Must Be Bilingual English and Spanish
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator or similar role.
• Proficient in using Banner Ads, Dentrix Dental Software, EHR SYSTEM, and Cerner Technologies.
• Experience in Clinical Trial Operations, Dialysis, and Insurance procedures.
• Knowledgeable in Billing Functions in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to use HealthCare.gov efficiently and effectively.
• Familiarity with Blood Glucose monitoring and management.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• A degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
