Description We are seeking a Tax Preparer for our operations in Encino, California. As part of our team, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that ensure the successful management of our clients' tax documentation and filings. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully collect all necessary financial documents from clients, including W-2s, 1099s, and expense reports.

• Utilize the collected information to prepare accurate tax returns, ensuring all possible deductions or credits are applied.

• Provide meticulous review of the tax returns, identifying and rectifying any missing data or potential errors.

• Submit the completed and approved tax returns to the IRS in a timely manner.

• Assist in the maintenance and management of all tax-related documents, ensuring proper record-keeping practices.

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline tax preparation and filing processes.

• Handle accounting functions and allowances associated with tax preparation.

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

• Perform data entry tasks related to tax document handling and filing.

• Deductible calculation and application in the preparation of tax returns. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Expertise in various Accounting Functions is necessary

• Familiarity with tax-related Allowances is expected

• Strong Customer Service skills are crucial

• Ability to perform efficient and accurate Data Entry is needed

• Knowledge of tax Deductibles is an important requirement
