Description We are in search of an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team based in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado. Your primary focus will be on managing construction defect cases and related legal matters. As an integral part of our team, your expertise will be critical in advising clients on complex construction defect issues, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal representation to clients involved in construction defect cases, including claim analysis, drafting legal documents, and preparing pleadings and motions.

• Manage a diverse caseload of construction defect cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are informed of case progress.

• Conduct thorough legal research to build robust case strategies, utilizing relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and industry standards.

• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, explaining legal strategies, and providing timely updates on case developments.

• Engage in negotiation and settlement discussions with opposing parties, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, presenting a compelling case on their behalf.

• Collaborate with expert witnesses, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to gather evidence, assess liability, and bolster case arguments.

• Develop innovative legal strategies tailored to each case's unique circumstances, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of construction law and defect issues.

• Ensure adherence to all legal and ethical standards, maintaining the highest level of professional integrity in all interactions and activities. Requirements • Possession of a valid license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as an attorney or lawyer

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software

• Ability to effectively handle complaints and administer claims

• Experience in Construction Law and Construction Defect

• Familiarity with Civil Litigation and Construction Litigation processes

• Demonstrated ability to prepare legal briefs and attend trials

• Proven experience in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Willingness to continue learning and improving legal skills.
