Description
Robert Half is partnering with a family owned business in the agriculture industry that has been around for the last 50 years. This role will directly support the CFO on a lot of project-based work he is implementing to automate processes and develop efficiencies to help the business make grounded financial decision. There are two other Controllers that handle the day-to-day accounting operations, so this role will be highly project based.
Key responsibilities
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
Manage cash flow and financial risk.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead ERP/software implementation initiatives and optimize system capabilities.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to completing tasks and projects.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team.
Participate in M& A activities and support integration efforts as needed.
Requirements
Requirements:
CPA Certification Required.
Big 4 Accounting firm foundation preferred.
Proven experience in ERP/Software implementation and process improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Strong project management skillset.
M& A experience is a plus.
NetSuite experience preferred.
