Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Englewood, Colorado

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Manufacturing industry, situated in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado, United States. This role involves performing a variety of accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed account reconciliation in accordance with established guidelines

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards

• Manage bank reconciliations, verifying and rectifying discrepancies as necessary

• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date

• Prepare and record journal entries, adhering to company policies and procedures

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy

• Assist with month end close processes, ensuring all financial deadlines are met

• Utilize Sage Accounting Software for various accounting tasks, ensuring data integrity

• Conduct detailed account analysis, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies

• Assist with KPI Reporting, providing accurate and timely financial information. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry is required

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience with Sage Accounting Software is essential

• Demonstrable ability to perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

• Must be skilled in performing bank reconciliations

• Proficiency in managing general ledger and journal entries

• Experience in conducting month-end close procedures

• Must be able to perform account analysis and present findings

• Experience in KPI reporting is a strong advantage

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Must be able to adhere to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• CPA certification is a plus.
