Description This Controller job opening with Robert Half might be the position for you, if you want to have broad business engagement and impact. We need someone who can manage the process to ensure that models are correct and are fully accrued each month, verify and hold the operations team accountable to ensure end to end incentive processing, payments, accounting and related financial controls are operating effectively. The Controller position is a long-term contract / temporary engagement located in Epping, New Hampshire. What you get to do every single day
Assemble evidence and qualitative discussion of monthly financial results across global programs to support SOX controls
Work closely with Treasury to provide timely cash flow forecasts
Evaluate and observe controls to ensure they are designed and operating effectively in partnership with compliance
Collaborate with various business partners for various program controllership and FP& A activities such as ensuring accrual models are accurate and accounting methods are appropriate, as well as true-up activities and answer queries from business, area and subsidiary controllers
Confirm familiarity of key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners
Ongoing monitoring of actual spend against budget, as well as leading actions needed for any expected shortfalls
Attain a thorough understanding of essential financial results and movements across programs, then be able to summarize and discuss them with key business partners
Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes and tools for the accountable programs Requirements
Comprehension of ERP system offerings is preferred
Professional accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Expertise in implementation
Well-founded grasp of account reconciliation
Experience with month end closings
Direct Supervision experience
Proficiency in Implement Strategies
Ability to manage, lead change and build process improvements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field
- CPA and/or CMA preferred
Prior experience in office and accounting computer systems
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership across finance team by engaging with different groups around the world via virtual communication
