Description Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor communication.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.

Manage vendor relationships, resolving inquiries and discrepancies in a professional and efficient manner.

Work closely with the AP team to implement and improve AP automation software and workflows.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and assist in internal and external audits.

Process and review a high volume of invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval.

Supervise and mentor AP staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team goals are met.

Monitor and maintain vendor accounts, including reconciliation and statement review.

Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts payable activities.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes as they pertain to accounts payable.

Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience.

Proficiency with ERP software, particularly Dynamics Great Plains or similar platforms.

Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility for work product.

Experience with AP automation software and workflows.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
