Robert Half Project Accounting and Finance Manager in Escondido, California
Robert Half has partnered with a Health & Human Services firm in Escondido, CA in the hiring of their new Project Accounting and Finance Manager. This role will lead and manage a team responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting project financial status, create and manage forecasts and budgets, and produce financial reporting for the overall projects. The role will be in-office and work with a team that has lots of longevity!
How you will make an impact:
Oversee accounts payable, receivables, and payroll
Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flows across multiple funding streams and communicate the contract’s financial position to leadership
Oversee monthly accounting close
5+ years of related experience
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP
Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Practical knowledge of fund accounting
Expertise in general ledger
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
