Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Escondido, California, for a Staff Accountant. The role is vital for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards within our industry. The workplace for this role is on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accuracy by performing regular financial audits to identify discrepancies.

• Managing all aspects of financial accounting, including handling accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and preparing financial statements.

• Assisting in the budgeting processes and providing financial insights that aid in decision-making.

• Taking charge of balance sheet reconciliation and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

• Preparing journal entries and maintaining detailed records of all financial transactions.

• Forecasting financial trends and analyzing variances to ensure financial stability.

• Utilizing accounting software and spreadsheet tools, along with other necessary tools, to efficiently perform tasks.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams using strong communication skills.

• Managing and prioritizing tasks effectively while working independently.

• Applying a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices in all tasks. Requirements • Applicant must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures, with the ability to process, verify, and reconcile invoices accurately and on time.

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is crucial, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.

• Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries is required, documenting all business transactions in an organized manner.

• Must have a strong understanding of Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported within set deadlines.

• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct accounting software is a must, aiding in efficient management of financial operations.
