Description We are seeking a VP - IT based in ESTES PARK, Colorado. This role will be instrumental in directing our IT infrastructure, managing direct reports, and overseeing the transition of our property management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-level business application transitions, CRM/POS systems, and web management experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of IT professionals, providing leadership and guidance.
• Oversee the growth and development of the IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate the implementation of new property management systems.
• Lead the centralization of existing systems.
• Manage the transition away from the current "Hotel Key" system.
• Identify and implement new systems as needed.
• Resolve issues related to the implementation and operation of the "Hotel Key" system.
• Leverage skills in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Auditing, Computer Hardware, Contracts, Deployments, Design, and Hospitality management.
• Manage POS - Point of Sale systems and related technologies.
• Stay abreast of advancements in AI and utilize this knowledge to improve systems and processes. Requirements • Significant experience in a VP - IT role or a similar leadership role within the IT sector
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT operations and strategy
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required
• Expertise in Cloud Technologies is a must
• Demonstrable experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Proficient in managing Database technologies
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems is essential
• Prior experience in Auditing within an IT environment
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware systems
• Experience in handling IT Contracts is necessary
• Proven track record in managing IT Deployments
• Strong skills in IT Design and architecture
• Experience in Hospitality management systems would be beneficial
• Knowledge of POS - Point of Sale systems is required
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
