Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Eugene, Oregon.
Responsibilities:
• Processing payroll for two companies, on a bi-weekly basis using Paychex.
• Using QuickBooks Enterprise for various tasks, including month-end close and depreciation.
• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various data entry and record-keeping tasks.
• Overseeing payroll for less than 100 employees.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure all financial records are accurate.
• Addressing and resolving any customer inquiries related to their accounts.
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action if necessary.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive company information.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and best practices.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with depreciation accounting techniques
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks Enterprise software
• Experience with Paychex payroll software
• Ability to handle payroll for fewer than 100 employees
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
