Robert Half Senior Accountant in Euless, Texas
Description If you have a background in accounting and are searching for a role with a highly respected Manufacturing firm, Robert Half may have the Senior Accountant position for you. In this position, you will be in charge of preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, and preparing audits, as well as managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. To be successful, candidates need to be highly adept at analytics and working in challenging, fast-paced environments. This Senior Accountant role is located in Euless, Texas within the Manufacturing field. Employees receive solid compensation and benefits. You will also have the chance for growth.
What you get to do every single day
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Month end closings experience
Solid understanding of fixed assets
Proficiency in Annual Inventory
Knowledge of general ledger
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Proficient in ERP systems
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills
