Robert Half Financial Analyst in Evadale, Texas

Description

We are looking to bring on board a motivated Financial Analyst in Beaumont, Texas. This role is centered around providing analytical support to our team. The ideal individual will be actively involved in the forecasting and budgeting process, financial analysis, and the improvement of processes and procedures to enhance the quality of financial analysis.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical support to the team to identify, track, and improve key performance drivers and results.

• Collaborate with team leaders to track savings targets of projects.

• Assist in the development and documentation of processes and procedures to enhance the quality of financial analysis.

• Actively participate in the forecasting and budgeting process, emphasizing holding departmental managers accountable for results and driving profitability.

• Support the monthly closing process by offering a financial review and analysis of location-level Profit & Loss and Balance sheet.

• Provide analytical support for both capital and financial accounting.

• Develop and maintain documentation of internal controls applicable to the assigned functional areas.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.

• Responsible for providing support with operational productivity tracking and metrics.

Requirements

Financial Analyst Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

• 1-2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role

• Proficient in Capex, Accounting Functions, and Budget Processes

• Demonstrated experience Financial Analysis

• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and manufacturing costs is essential

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
