Description
We are looking for a competent ERP Programmer/ Analyst to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. You will be working in the Manufacturing industry, where you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and implementation of new applications and enhancements. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of new or enhancement of existing applications that align with the Infor LX enterprise application.
• Perform analysis, design, evaluation, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide Infor LX applications across various functional areas.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Infor LX system to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Lead efforts to manage and maintain the integrity of the data within the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain the security of the ERP system.
• Stay updated on the latest developments, updates and best practices related to Infor LX and ERP systems.
• Actively participate in evaluating and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Infor LX enterprise technology stack.
• Resolve daily user requests for support and work with system owners/users to develop System Requirements.
• Code, test and debug new or enhance existing programs according to defined requirements.
• Develop and execute formal testing protocols of business processes.
• Install vendor supplied software and updates per vendor instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Execute projects to successful completion with oversight from IT management.
Requirements
• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems development and integration.
• Experience with INFOR LX (50/50 Techno Functional)
• Solid understanding of manufacturing industry processes and workflows.
• Demonstrable experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Ability to analyze user needs and develop software solutions that meet these needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technological developments and trends in ERP/CRM systems.
• Prior experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
