Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Everett, Washington
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the healthcare industry in Everett, Washington. This role will involve handling medical billing tasks, pulling medical records, and dealing with insurance companies. This on-site position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Processing and submitting medical records to insurance companies.
• Efficiently handling medical billing tasks.
• Training on and utilization of Epic software, as needed.
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and accounts.
• Resolving customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
• Comfortably navigating and using insurance websites, with training provided as necessary.
• Pulling and uploading medical records and insurance EOBs for mailing to insurance companies.
• Ensuring compliance with all HIPAA guidelines when handling patient records.
• Providing cross-training to other staff members as needed.
• Assisting in the conversion of paper records to electronic health records. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations within the healthcare or NHS sector
• Proficiency in using Epic Software for managing medical records and other relevant data
• Proven ability to liaise with insurance companies and manage TRICARE and NIS procedures
• Experience in providing workstation support and maintaining offshore operations
• Familiarity with ST Microcontroller operations within the healthcare industry
• Excellent phone presence for managing patient and provider communications
• Proven track record in training new team members and conducting interviews
• Strong understanding of medical records management and its importance in AR operations
• Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
