Robert Half HR Generalist in Everett, Washington

Description We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in the rubber manufacturing industry, stationed in Everett, Washington. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As an HR Generalist, your primary responsibilities will include recruitment, documentation management, benefit administration, and employee onboarding.

Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment processes including sourcing candidates and coordinating interviews with relevant managers.

• Oversee the maintenance and organization of personnel files, ensuring accurate recording of personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, and termination data.

• Provide support to employees on a range of HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, compensation, and employee issues.

• Administer employee benefits and handle the onboarding of new employees.

• Organize and support team building activities and morale events for employees.

• Develop, maintain, and manage HR programs, forms, manuals, and other materials.

• Monitor employee training programs and create training schedules for required annual trainings.

• Participate actively in the safety committee.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and directing visitors to the appropriate department.

• Maintain strict confidentiality standards regarding all matters and documents.

• Provide clerical support to the HR department as required. Requirements • Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiar with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian, Dayforce, and Benefit Functions

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of compliance regulations relevant to the rubber manufacturing industry

• Proven track record in handling employee relations

• Familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing industry, preferably rubber manufacturing

• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously

• Strong internal and external customer service focus

• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Ability to maintain confidential information
