Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Everett, Washington

Description We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our healthcare team based in Everett, Washington. The role involves managing and distributing patient health information alongside other healthcare providers and clinic support staff. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Distribute and file patient health information in a timely and organized manner

• Maintain an updated list of patient charts in archives and retrieve them when necessary

• Process releases of information (ROIs) efficiently and accurately

• Coordinate the data collection for chart audits and quality reviews as assigned

• Respond to EHR tasks and telephone calls, providing assistance to patients regarding health information

• Ensure that the release of medical information complies with policy and HIPAA guidelines

• Document all communications with patients in EHR as appropriate

• Utilize multi-line telephones and other office machines regularly

• Proactively solve problems with creativity and resourcefulness

• Maintain proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Handle CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling tasks effectively. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in CRM, EHR System, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites

• Prior experience in Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling is required

• Should have the ability to work effectively in a healthcare setting, ideally with experience in the NHS

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and other healthcare professionals

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities required

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations and standards

• Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Availability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed

• Must possess a positive attitude, empathy, and patience when dealing with patients.
