Robert Half Sr. Financial Operations Analyst in Everett, Washington

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Operations Analyst. As an integral part of our Financial Services team, you will be tasked with analyzing financial data, ensuring data validation, managing journal entries, and coordinating with the finance team on various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues

• Conduct data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records

• Execute journal entries as part of the financial reporting process

• Collaborate with the finance team on reconciliations and other tasks

• Handle manual entries to update and maintain financial records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize data and perform complex calculations

• Develop and manage analytical datasets for financial analysis

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial data

• Monitor financial operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

• Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations as needed

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data analysis and financial modeling.

• Familiarity with data validation techniques is required to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.

• Experience with creating and managing analytical datasets is essential for data processing and analysis.

• Knowledge of preparing and reviewing journal entries is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics or related field is expected.

• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret complex financial information.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work is important.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for reporting and presenting financial information.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is necessary.

• Must have a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.

• Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred.

• Advanced problem-solving skills are needed to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

• Familiarity with financial software and systems is advantageous.

• Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
