Description
Successful client in the Greater Philadelphia area seeks a skilled Project Accountant with strong cost experience. As the Project Accountant, you will review project budgets, provide cost estimates to management, ensure billing submissions are processed accurately and on time, and assist with renewal of insurance certificates. The ideal candidate for this role will should have the ability to manage all accounting related activities assigned for projects.
Primary Responsibilities
· Create and monitor project accounts
· Process incoming client invoices
· Verify project budgets
· Assist with general ledger postings
· Oversee compliance for assigned projects
· Review billing and payments are accuracy
· Update management on project status
· Project Analysis
· Assist with month/quarter-end process
· Provide monthly reporting to management
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
· 3+ years of ideally construction or real estate cost/project accounting experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel
· SAGE Timberline a PLUS
· Excellent communication skills
