Description

Robert Half HR Solutions is currently recruiting for a Plant HR Manager for a client in the Fairburn, GA area. The Plant HR manager will be the sole HR professional and will be tasked with building out the HR function for a growing manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee the HR department, ensuring it functions effectively and aligns with business objectives.

• Implement and manage HRIS system

• Oversee employee relations, benefits administration, and compensation & benefits to ensure a positive work environment and employee satisfaction.

• Ensure HR compliance and adherence to HR policies and procedures within the organization.

• Manage new employee orientation, onboarding, performance management, and training & development initiatives to enhance employee skills and productivity.

• Oversee personnel file maintenance and manage the recruitment process, from job posting to hiring.

• Handle terminations in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals.

• Manage workers' compensation, ensuring it is administered effectively and in accordance with regulations.

• Oversee compliance and compensation administration to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all employees.

Requirements

• Experience selecting and implementing an HRIS

• Ability to perform Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration tasks, and ensure Compliance

• Strong skills in Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, and Compensation & Benefits

• Knowledge of HR Compliance, HR Policy, and HR Strategy

• Experience in conducting New Employee Orientation, Onboarding, and Performance Management

• Ability to maintain Personnel Files

• Familiarity with Policies & Procedures related to HR

• Proficient in Recruiting, managing Terminations, and Training & Development

• Knowledge of Workers Compensation laws and regulations
