Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer specializing in Community Association matters based in Fairfax, Virginia. This role will primarily involve providing legal advice and services to community associations, dealing with various litigation matters, and liaising with clients to ensure their legal needs are met.
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel to community associations regarding various legal issues and disputes.
• Manage litigation cases, including preparation, filing, and defense of lawsuits.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all client interactions.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments affecting community associations.
• Provide training and guidance to community association board members on legal matters. Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the State Bar
• Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes and laws
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret laws and regulations
• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High ethical standards and professional integrity
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
