Robert Half Data Entry Clerk in Fairfax, Virginia
Description We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia. The role involves primarily updating and maintaining records within our internal medical software system. This position requires proficiency in data entry and a good understanding of medical terminologies.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter medical diagnoses into the internal system.
• Update existing files with relevant medical information.
• Learn to effectively use the internal medical software system for data entry tasks.
• Ensure all entered data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Handle customer inquiries related to the data entry process.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Maintain a business casual attire and adhere to the onsite work requirement.
• Demonstrate proficiency in 10 Key Skills, Customer Service, Data Entry, Email Correspondence, Typing, and MS Office.
• Ensure all written communication, including data entries, adhere to proper grammar rules.
• Be open to moving to other projects based on performance and company needs. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional data entry skills, including 10 key typing skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Strong written communication skills, particularly in email correspondence
• Ability to type quickly and accurately
• High attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
