Description
Position - Tax Senior
Our client is a 40+ year CPA firm that has been identified as a great place to work and boasts a great team environment. The firm provides tax, audit, and accounting services to commercial and nonprofit clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individual, partnership, corporate and non-profit clients
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Communicate with clients and maintain strong relationships
• Review and approve work performed by staff
• Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members
• Participate in continuing professional education to stay current on tax laws and regulations

Requirements
Qualifications:
• CPA certification plus
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Experience in CCH ProSystems Engagement and Axcess a plus
• Experience with manufacturers, nonprofit organizations, long term healthcare providers and construction companies a plus
