Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director, IT Strategy to oversee critical strategic initiatives. This important role involves the development and implementation of complex programs and projects, as well as creating and overseeing project management methodologies, business analysis methodologies, and testing methodologies. Duration: 6 month contract to permanent Location; Hybrid

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Managing and leading the IT Strategy Team. Providing feedback and educational opportunities to team members. Reviewing, prioritizing, and tracking incoming work requests. Delivering status reports on major projects as needed. Leading strategic programs and projects using best practices. Working collaboratively with IT Directors and others, providing guidance related to project management, business analysis, and testing. Developing a testing and QA methodology. Analyzing and providing feedback on new software. Leading the development of RFPs and selection of vendor software. Engaging in contract negotiations. Providing expert guidance to the community on project management, analysis, and testing. Overseeing assigned vendor relationships and ensuring services are delivered in a timely manner. Meeting regularly with business partners to understand their needs and improvements. Performing other duties as requested and contributing to the IT Leadership team's decision-making process. Requirements Minimum Hiring Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. At least five years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Business Analyst, or related position. At least five years of experience managing project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams. Proven experience in developing IT processes and procedures.
