How you will make an impact
Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements
Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
2+ years of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and VMware
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
- This position requires a combination of superior customer service skills and technical aptitude
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Basic Network Troubleshooting experience preferred
Adeptness in Desktop Support
Command of Ticketing System
Proficiency in Printer Hardware
Demonstrated knowledge of Remote Desktop Support
Computer Hardware experience highly desired
Desktop Hardware experience
Strong communication and social skills
- This position is best filled with someone who has technical skills to serve as escalation point for handling incidents and service requests related to application, operating system and other service related problems
