Description
A busy law firm in the Fairfield area is seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to join their team. This Billing & Collections Specialist will get the chance to join a growing organization that offers a flexible work schedule and plenty of career growth. The ideal Billing & Collections Specialist will have 2+ years of experience out of another law firm, electronic billing experience, and have intermediate Excel skills. This Billing & Collections Specialist will report to the Treasury Manager and work with 3 other specialists. Responsibilities of this Billing & Collections Specialist will include but not be limited to:
Must have experience with billing and collections, and preferably electronic billing
Possess ability to effectively work with attorneys on time billing, costs, and collections
Responding to client inquiries and facilitating collection efforts
Analyzing client billing agreements
Interacting with internal departments regarding billing or collections
Responding to attorney inquiries
Identifying short paid invoices and billed electronically
Issuing monthly client statements

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant field a plus
2+ years of billing and collections experience required
Prior law firm experience a plus
Excellent communication (written and verbal)
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask
