Carly Sahagian with Robert Half is offering a unique opportunity to join her client in the Machinery Manufacturing industry near Portland, Oregon. The role is for an Accounts Receivable Clerk, whose duties will primarily focus on customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Key responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications to ensure timely transactions

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information to support financial decision-making

• Resolve customer credit inquiries, providing an effective and responsive service

• Monitor customer credit accounts consistently to identify any irregularities or issues

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, ensuring the company's financial stability

• Collaborate with a team of AR Administrators to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrate adaptability and a friendly demeanor in a high-volume capacity

• Utilize experience with high volume collections, cash posting, and heavy research on accounts

• Exercise excellent communication and customer service skills to maintain positive relationships with clients

• Utilize Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP skills to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.

Requirements • Must possess expertise in Account Reconciliation

• Proven experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) required

• Familiarity with Billing processes essential

• Proficiency in Cash Applications necessary

• Experience in Cash Collections required

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections essential

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle software necessary

• Experience with QuickBooks preferred

• Proficiency in SAP software required

• Must have a strong understanding of machinery manufacturing industry standards and best practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities required

• Detail-oriented approach to work essential

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills preferred

• Should have a strong ethical framework for handling sensitive financial information.
