Robert Half Human Resources Generalist in Fall River, Massachusetts
Description
We are in search of a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our FALL RIVER, Massachusetts based client. In this role, your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive human resources support across all aspects of the business, including workforce management initiatives, compliance with employment labor laws, and contributing to our positive work environment. This role is pivotal in fostering a supportive and engaging work culture, and your expertise in HR will play a key role in the success of our team.
Responsibilities:
• Spearhead efforts in cultivating a positive workplace culture by working closely with management to address employee concerns
• Participate in the recruitment process, which includes creating job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews
• Ensure smooth transition for new hires by providing comprehensive onboarding support
• Administer and manage Family and Medical Leave Act/Parental and Family Medical Leave requests
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and Worker’s Compensation facilitation
• Maintain meticulous employee records and ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations
• Utilize HR software and tools for efficient data management, metrics, and reporting
• Develop and implement initiatives to engage employees, including events and activities
• Work closely with office and manufacturing managers and supervisors to provide support for employee issues, performance management, and other initiatives.
Requirements
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now
• Ability to manage and understand Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Compliance regulations and laws within HR
• Experience in Employee Relations management
• Familiarity with Hiring Processes and best practices
