Description We have an exciting opportunity working for an experienced Demand Planning Materials Manager. In this role you duties will include.
Creates Strategic Demand Forecast for manufactured items through the Sales Inventory and Operations Plan (SIOP) cycle of meetings.
Measures analyzes, and reports key process metrics, while monitoring adherence to key performance indicators (KPI) for assigned product categories and adjust schedules as necessary.
Communicate ongoing forecast changes to stakeholders in the Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and Finance teams.
Responsible for Assembly Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management and Logistics duties, coordinating workflow and work activities within the department to ensure quality and productivity goals are consistently met.
Assists with inventory accuracy by identifying problems, monitoring accuracy, inventory levels and manpower requirements.
Processes Engineering change orders and works with cross functionally with other departments on new product introductions.
Monitor and implement improvements for safety, service, on-time deliveries, productivity, accuracy, and procedures.
Fosters an environment of continuous improvement.
Supervises and manages employees as it relates to all projects or related work, establishes performance requirements, clarifies responsibilities of those supervised, conducts performance appraisals and plans for individual employee development.
Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
