Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Farmingdale, New Jersey


Look no further, Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to immediately hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. Responsibilities may include and will not be limited to:

  • Oversee human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.

  • Support employees such that they follow all policies and procedures.

  • Build up the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

  • Lead all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team.

  • Explore compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits.

  • Monitor reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs.

  • Take part in interdepartmental meetings with other managers.

  • Lead human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

  • Maintain and deploy applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings.

  • Create recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws.

  • Be responsible for exit interviews and procedures.

  • Institute management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

  • 8 years of HR Experience and 2 years in a management role.

  • Brings a positive attitude to workplace.

  • Bilingual in Spanish.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to time manage and plan ahead.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
