Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the automotive industry, stationed in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This role will involve handling various accounts receivable duties, including cash receipts, bank reconciliations, running schedules, and other relevant tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Handle general Accounts Receivable duties, ensuring all financial records are accurate.
• Process cash receipts and perform bank reconciliations as needed.
• Run schedules and distribute them to service managers, parts managers, and other relevant parties across different stores.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect delinquent payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash collections and other cash activities.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed and organized customer credit records.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and processes
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Ability to manage Cash Activity effectively and efficiently
• Proven track record in Cash Collections
• Familiarity with automotive industry
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
