Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The role is in the heating and air industry and will involve managing and coordinating various financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records and utilizing QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
• Regularly perform account reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate.
• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and rectify any discrepancies promptly.
• Stay on top of bookkeeping tasks and ensure all financial records are up-to-date.
• Carry out data entry tasks and maintain the database with the latest customer information.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and reports for easy data interpretation.
• Assist in month-end close procedures by preparing necessary documents and reports.
• Responsible for processing payroll and ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Proficiently use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and financial management. Requirements • Possess proficiency in account reconciliation
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Skilled in bank reconciliations
• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping
• Proficient in data entry
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with month end close procedures
• Proficient in managing payroll
• Experience with QuickBooks is a must
