Description Growing organization in Fenton is searching for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will report to the CFO and will assist with month end closing through financial statement preparation, perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and G/L journal entries, budget preparation, variance analysis and monthly reporting activities. The Senior Accountant will also maintain fixed assets and assist with external audit activities. Minimum Senior Accountant qualifications: BS in Accounting, 3+ years' full cycle accounting experience (job costing preferred), ERP software exposure and intermediate MS Excel skills. • Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant for a minimum of 3 years

• Demonstrable proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Proficient in the use of General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Ability to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
