Robert Half Billing Clerk in Fife, Washington
Description We are in search of a meticulous Billing Clerk to be a part of our team in Fife, Washington. This role will primarily involve handling billing functions within the aerospace manufacturing industry. You will be tasked with data entry, producing invoices, and gradually expanding your responsibilities into other areas of accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Strictly handle billing tasks, excluding vendor communications and posting
• Perform data entry duties accurately and promptly
• Produce invoices on a regular basis, ensuring the amount changes daily as required
• Progressively take on additional responsibilities in other areas of accounting
• Utilize DAS based proprietary software for various accounting functions
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative and accounting tasks
• Perform claim administration, billing functions, and collection processes
• Provide excellent customer service when resolving customer inquiries and issues
• Use Accounting Software Systems to manage and streamline accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting and billing functions
• Experience in claim administration and collection processes
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with billing procedures
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to stay updated with new billing systems and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
