Description

We are on the lookout for a competent PC Technician to join our team in the technology industry. In this role, you will be tasked with diagnosing and fixing issues with printers, copiers, and multifunction devices, carrying out routine maintenance, and installing new equipment. You will also be responsible for responding to service calls promptly, keeping meticulous records, and managing an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. Travel in the area is required.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake prompt and efficient diagnosis and repair of hardware and software issues related to printers, copiers, and multifunction devices

• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment to guarantee optimal performance

• Oversee the installation of new equipment, including initial setup, configuration, and user training

• Ensure quick response to service calls to minimize customer downtime

• Keep detailed records of service calls, repairs, and parts usage

• Instruct customers on the appropriate operation and maintenance of equipment to minimize future service needs

• Work in collaboration with technical support teams and escalate complex issues when required

• Manage and maintain an inventory of necessary tools, parts, and supplies.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience working as a PC Technician or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies and the ability to work on Dell systems

• Experience with Linux Technologies, including installation, setup, and problem solving

• Knowledge of Mac Computers, including troubleshooting and software updates

• Expertise in Backup Technologies to ensure data safety and recovery

• Ability to perform Cable Installation, ensuring connectivity and network efficiency

• Experience in resolving Printer Problems, both hardware and software-related

• Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting Network Printers, ensuring smooth operations Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
