Robert Half VP of QA in Florham Park, New Jersey

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a VP Technology in Florham Park, New Jersey. This role is in the telecom industry and will involve setting, driving, and executing the overall QA strategy across all QA teams, including new technologies, processes, and procedures. The individual will be responsible for coordinating with technology leaders to identify and prioritize key system initiatives, ensuring end-to-end quality assurance of all enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the centralization, modernization, and update of practices and policies to ensure resource scalability.

• Lead the IT Quality Assurance group through a clearly defined process-driven methodology.

• Partner with Business and Development teams to review business/technical requirements and guide QA leads in generating comprehensive test strategy, plans, impact analysis, and test cases for effective assurance and testing functions.

• Oversee QA recruiting and vendor management activities, including managing contracts and SLAs.

• Contribute to defining and establishing new best-practices, processes, scorecards, and tooling for the Quality Assurance organization.

• Serve as the Test Automation expert, establishing standards-based automation/performance testing competency with a robust testing framework, testing & test management tools, test data, and test cases for key applications.

• Utilize Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Auditing, Computer Hardware, Contracts, Deployments, Design, Automation Quality Assurance, Guidewire.

• Have a strong understanding of network and security design, and the implications of these on performance; able to recommend alternative solutions for addressing application bottlenecks. Requirements • Proven experience in a leadership role within the technology sector for a minimum of 15 years

• Expertise in Cisco Technologies is essential for this role

• Advanced knowledge of Cloud Technologies and their applications

• Proficiency in CRM systems management and optimization

• Extensive experience with database design and management

• In-depth understanding of EO/IR systems

• Demonstrated ability to perform Auditing tasks effectively

• Proven track record in managing Computer Hardware

• Experience in managing Contracts

• Past involvement in large-scale technology Deployments

• Ability to lead Design processes for technology solutions

• Strong skills in Automation Quality Assurance
