Description Robert Half has a Desktop Support Technician role open that you might be interested in, if you have the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format. This Desktop Support Analyst role is short-term contract / temporary in nature and is based in the Folsom, California, area.
Your responsibilities in this role
Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters Requirements - Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
Desktop support or related experience
Facility experience highly valued
Previous experience working with Websites
About Time experience highly preferred
Background working with Workstation Support
Comprehension of Networking
General familiarity with Email Correspondence
Strong familiarity with planning
Good understanding of Troubleshoot
Microsoft experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling
Operating System experience highly desired
Warehouse management experience preferred
Foundational knowledge in Servers
Earlier work involving security
Adeptness in IT Operations
Scanning Documents experience desired
Prior experience with Active Directory
Knowledge of Best Practices
Command of reporting
Practical knowledge of supervising
Comprehensive knowledge of customer service
Compliance experience highly desired
Hands-on experience with Communication Skills
Strong familiarity with Printing
